In addition to holding the very broad standard ISO 22000, Établissements DOUCY received the Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) in early 2017.

STANDARD FSSC 22000 is the first global food safety standard intended to certify the production and transformation of food products and ingredients. FSSC 22000 complements the existing standards in terms of food safety. It is a combination of the ISO 22000, the only standard for food safety management systems, and PAS 220, a standard developed to specify the requirements of food safety pre-requisite programmes for the agrifood industries.
The purpose of FSSC 22000 certification is to complement the requirements of ISO 22000 in order to meet those required for Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognition also covering BRC and IFS.
The objectives of FSSC 22000 certification are as follows:
  • To recognise the use of guides for good hygiene practices
  • To meet customer requirements in terms of food safety
  • To define, limit and manage food safety risks throughout the production chain
  • To improve confidence in food quality
  • To produce reliable products
  • To develop brand protection tools

Standard FCA - certification


Since 2016, Établissements DOUCY has held the Feed Chain Alliance (FCA) certification, a unique quality standard in the animal feed sector.  This certification guarantees food safety and quality throughout the sector from its source to the end consumer (the breeder).

The FCA standard, which is internationally accepted and respected, benefits from mutual recognition with the sector’s main references:  GMP+ international, QS, GTP, CSA GTP, etc.

The FCA standard covers all activities likely to occur in the animal feed sector: production, transport, storage, trading, etc.

“Animal feed” is understood as:

  • ingredients for animal feed
  • additives
  • premixes
  • compound foodstuffs.

In the FEED sector, Établissements DOUCY is your ideal partner for the development and formulation of supports for your ingredient mixtures.  The supports are designed for animal feed and are adapted to your needs.

In the case of oily products, the supports are essential for their application.   Établissements DOUCY develop appropriate supports for homogeneous and stable formulations. These formulations may be in the form of powder or homogeneous emulsion for better absorption.
