Since 1929, DOUCY has sold aromatic raw materials, flavourings and essential oils for use in foodstuffs and perfumes from its business premises in Marcinelle.

In 1959, we also started to develop aromatic and medicinal plants in the form of essential oils in collaboration with producers in regions of France and elsewhere.

In 2007, we moved into completely new factory premises in the industrial zone of Fernelmont in the province of Namur.

Being leaders of developments in our sector, we are constantly on the lookout for new aromas with balanced scents in order to be able to combine tradition and innovation.

Being creative involves the successful achievement of surprising combinations, the production of unexpected mixtures and the addition of personal touches to flavourings.

Our natural products need to be produced on premises which have the appropriate heating and lighting conditions. Our premises provide such conditions, so we are able to take full advantage of and are also able to take the lead when it comes to creative trends in our industry.

We have a very large range of products which are checked during all stages of the production process and this makes it possible for us to diversify and to offer a significant number of finished products.

Since 2008, DOUCY has also had ISO 22000 certification. This is the standard for the production and packaging of flavourings, food colouring agents and essential oils.
