In 1929, Établissements DOUCY were created in Marcinelle for the sale of aromatic raw materials, seasonings and essential oils intended for food and perfumery.
In 1959, we developed and distilled aromatic and medicinal plants in the form of essential oils in collaboration with producers from regions in France and elsewhere.
In 2007, we moved to a brand new factory, more suited to our quality system and located in Fernelmont industrial park in the province of Namur.
With the construction of an additional 1100 m2 extension in 2018, a new step was taken. The increased growth and evolution of the food processing industry led to new needs in terms of flavourings and tastes, as well as new perspectives.
In 2008, Établissements DOUCY became holders of the ISO 22000 standard.
In 2014, an 800 m2 extension was built to cope with our growing business, our development and our new certification requirements.
In 2017, Établissements DOUCY received the FSSC 22000 standard, the first global food safety standard specifically aimed at certifying the production and transformation of food products and ingredients.
In 2017 again, Établissements DOUCY were FCA certified with the international ‘Animal feed’ standard.
